Picture: The four ambulances in the Golders Green arson
The arson in Golders Green, London, was an attack on a Jewish charity, Hatzola, in which four volunteer ambulances were targeted and destroyed. It comes as a relief that nobody was injured. An organisation, The Islamic Movement Of the People Of The Right Hand, with links to Iran, has claimed resposibility. Both the nature of the attack, its targets and its perpetrator, make this an antisemitic hate crime and terror incident, being treated as that by police.
We think of the local Jewish community and the wider Jewish community, made ever more fearful, by the increasingly more frequent, antisemitic violence and abuse both nationwide and worldwide.
