Continuous Dreaming

As we think of Dr Martin Luther King on his Birthday holiday asigned in the United States, his memory continually inspires, his dream continues ongoing. His example was active and heroic, but so too was it comfort and reasurance. To know he was fighting for human rights was thrilling, to hear the way he spoke was also. Yet it was the humanity, as well as the human nature of the man, made people connect with him too. Frailty, weakness, are present often, with heroism, strength. It is the one who fights as he is scared, who is even more remarkable than another,  the one who does so, but is afraid of little.

Martin Luther King was a hero, Martin Luther King was a man. He worked for us all, regardless of race, even as he battled and strived for his race, so put upon, so mistreated continuously, yet he inspired and enriched the human race, so prejudiced then, so divided now.
